Bigland Network publishes two kinds of content. This page explains how each one is produced, where it comes from and how we handle mistakes, so you can decide how much weight to give what you read here.
Original wellness guides
Our Wellness Guides are written by the Bigland Network editorial team in plain language. Each guide draws on recommendations from recognized public-health and medical organizations such as the CDC, the NIH institutes, the World Health Organization and the NHS. The sources are listed at the end of every guide so that you can read them yourself.
- We aim for balanced, cautious wording. We do not promise cures or quick fixes.
- We separate well-established recommendations from areas where the evidence is mixed, and we say so.
- Photos are public-domain (CC0) images, credited in the caption.
- Guides show the date they were last updated, and we revise them when guidance changes.
- Our guides never promote a specific product or supplement.
Offers
The offers section contains commercial promotions. It is kept separate from our editorial content, and our editorial articles do not endorse any particular offer.
Not medical advice
